Habanos S.A. has launched a new vitola of Hoyo de Monterrey LE 2021 (55 x 145mm) from its exclusive distributor for Bulgaria, Kaliman Caribe. Approximately 500 people from regions such as Switzerland, United Kingdom, UAE, Cuba, Serbia, Kosovo, among others… were lucky enough to enjoy and taste these exclusive cigars.
The Limited Editions occupy a unique place among the specialties in the Habanos, S.A. portfolio, not only because of the careful selection of their leaves, aged for a minimum period of two years, but also because of their presentation in special packaging and with an additional ring in black and gold with the year of release. Monterreyes No. 4 is presented in a wooden container designed for the occasion and contains 10 Habanos.
This is a very special vitola since Hoyo de Monterrey has not had a limited-edition cigar since 2004. As is characteristic of this brand, it is a mild-strength cigar, with leaves that have been exhaustively selected in Vuelta Abajo (Pinar del Rio) and a wrapper that has been aged for 2 years, typical of limited editions.
As for its notes, you will appreciate woody and floral flavors with slight hints of roasted malt. It has an excellent draw and a light gray ash color, with a smoking time of 50 minutes.
