BOLIVAR LIBERTADOR LCDH (2018)

The Bolívar Libertador is a powerful, full-bodied Cuban cigar originally created as a French regional edition before becoming an exclusive release for La Casa del Habano. It is produced by Habanos S.A. and measures 164 mm with a 54 ring gauge (factory vitola: Sublimes), often referred to as a Double Robusto.

Visually, the cigar is impressive — thick, heavy in the hand, and wrapped in a dark, oily Cuban wrapper with minimal veins. Construction is generally excellent, with a firm pack, smooth draw, and even burn. Smoke output is dense and creamy.

From the first third, the Libertador immediately delivers bold earth, leather, and cedar notes. There is a strong backbone of black pepper and deep, mineral-rich Cuban tobacco flavor. The smoke feels weighty and textured on the palate.
