The Regios is the main regular-production cigar from the Saint Luis Rey line, made in Cuba with tobacco from Vuelta Abajo. It has a Hermosos No.4 (5” x 48) format and is typically considered medium to strong in character.

From the start, it offers notes of wood, leather, and earth, gradually developing hints of nuts, coffee, and light spice. Some smokers also notice a subtle sweetness or cocoa undertone as the cigar progresses. The strength is usually medium, occasionally building toward the final third.

Construction is generally good, with a decent draw and burn, although younger cigars can sometimes burn unevenly or become slightly harsh near the end. With proper aging, the flavors tend to smooth out and become more balanced.

Overall, the Regios is considered a solid and dependable habano—enjoyable and authentic, though not the most complex cigar available. It’s often seen as a good value and an underrated option for those who appreciate classic Cuban profiles.
