The Cohiba Siglo VI is one of the most prestigious Cuban cigars and a benchmark of the Cohiba range. It is a large-format cigar measuring approximately 150 mm in length with a 52 ring gauge, offering a smoking time of around 80–110 minutes depending on the smoking pace.

The first third is elegant and relatively smooth, with notes of fresh grass, hay, cedar, cream and a subtle sweetness. This combination of herbal and sweet notes gives the Siglo VI much of its distinctive Cohiba character.

As it progresses into the second third, the cigar becomes richer and more complex. Notes of coffee, toasted nuts, cedar, honey, cream and spices begin to develop. For many smokers, this is the most enjoyable part of the cigar, as the different flavours become well integrated without any single note becoming overpowering.

In the final third, the cigar becomes darker and more concentrated. Coffee, cocoa, cedar, toasted tobacco and spices become more prominent, while the strength gradually increases. A well-stored cigar smoked slowly should remain balanced and smooth rather than becoming excessively harsh.
