The Cohiba Siglo I is beautifully presented in a small vitola with a light colorado wrapper. It is the smallest cigar in the range: a perfect introduction to the coveted Cohiba brand. Thanks to its small format, the Siglo I is also an opportunity to indulge in a moment of pleasure, even when time is short and you only have half an hour. It is a Petit Corona ring gauge 40 that was first produced in 1992 in honor of the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’ arrival in America. Tasting reveals aromas of roasted coffee and cocoa. The smoke is full and creamy, evolving into notes of wood and licorice. Like the rest of the Cohiba portfolio, this cigar is perfectly rolled and very well constructed. As a result, the burn is straight and smooth, just perfect.
